The leaves, the leaves

It's that time of year again. Autumn...when the leaves change color, the air gets brisk, and the leaf peepers invade.

Except this year we had a warm summer, then a warm-cold-warm start to the Fall, then a big inland swirling tropical storm - which absolutely decimated the usual beautiful foliage. *sigh* C'est la vie

We have some great pictures from previous years though and this week's blog carnival theme for EtsyBloggers is to show pictures of what Autumn looks like where we live. I live in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The blog carnival is hosted by my state neighbor Mrs. Moo (Spotted Cow Soaps of Vermont!). So here is what I, and likely she, gets to see when the weather shifts and the trees shake.
